About
Kind Cocoon Wellness

with Bella Leilani

The Kind Cocoon is a place where you can find comfort in the discomfort.

Fun Fact: Caterpillars completely dissolve in their cocoon, digesting themselves. This is a very sticky gooey phase, seems very uncomfortable right?

This is very much like our own process in life. We may not literally dissolve, however, I’m sure many of us can relate to this feeling of dissolving, of digesting their lives and having to let go of what is no longer serving us. The Kind Cocoon represents the safety to go through this process, to be held in warmth and love.

I first found my way to Reiki in 2019 through my yoga instructor, Rachel Dirks. I had my first session with her, and it completely changed my life. Everything was brighter, I felt more confident speaking. Since then I have had many Reiki sessions, and after the passing of my godfather and sister in law I have found Reiki to be like a warm hug for grief.

That is the story of how I first fell in love with Reiki. I had been wanting to learn how to become a practitioner when I found out Front Range Community College offers Reiki Certifications. In the Fall & Winter of 2022 I finished my certification in Usui/Tibetan Reiki 1, 2, and Master Teacher.

Since getting certified, Reiki has become a part of my daily life. The last year I have been facilitating Reiki Sessions for friends and family. I am grateful to now have the opportunity to offer Reiki to a larger community.  I offer Reiki sessions, as well as teach Reiki 1.

As of May 29th, 2024, I am officially a registered Yoga Teacher. I also begin my Ayurvedic Practitioner Studies this August. I look forward to being able to offer more services.
